UniQ Otago – Who are we?

UniQ Otago is the Dunedin-based chapter of UniQ, an organisation run by and for queer and queer-friendly students. UniQ Otago provides queer events, networking opportunities, and support, as well as a monthly newsletter to keep you in the loop. Our regular events include Parfait, Q4 as well as occasional BYO dinners and movie nights.

Meet The Queer Support Coordinator

Jamie Burford is the OUSA Queer Support Coordinator. He provides information and support for Queer and Questioning students at the University of Otago and Otago Polytechnic. This includes: confidential advice and support, queer events (ranging from film screenings, tea parties, lectures, trainings, etc.), coordinating queer peer supporters, as well as a queer resource library including DVDs and books which is open to the public.
